ALULAB is a mobile LIBS (Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) analyzer that allows to quantify concentrations of elements that are critical for process control of primary Aluminum (Fe, Si, Cu, Na) on the shop floor. QUSAL is a preparation-free sampling system developed to work seamlessly with Alulab. It enables direct analysis of samples without the need for surface preparation.
Sampling is performed using a dedicated re-usable sampling lance, eliminating the need for operators to handle liquid aluminum directly—enhancing both safety and efficiency.
The entire process—from sampling to receiving analytical results—can be completed in approximately 60 seconds, enabling real-time decision-making on the shop floor.
